Nhan Dan – The Sao Khue Awards 2014 launched on January 17 with the aim of selecting, assessing and ranking the best products and services of the information technology and software industries in Vietnam.
According to the organiser, Vietnam Software and IT Services Association (VINASA), Sao Khue 2014 is a nationwide programme under the sponsor of the Ministry of Information and Communications.
All enterprises, research agencies, universities and training establishments specialising in the areas of software and information technology with excellent IT products and services are eligible to register for the awards.
Their products and services must be commercialised and have been circulated in the market for at least one year to allow evaluation of their effectiveness in reality and the possibility of their success in the market.
Entries nominated for the Sao Khue Awards will be divided into three groups including: outstanding commercial software products and solutions, outstanding IT services, and software solutions and products newly commercialised in 2013.
In the past three years from 2011-2013, Sao Khue titles were granted to 186 excellent IT and software products and services.
The award ceremony is scheduled to take place in Hanoi late April 2014 and the deadline for entries to be submitted to the organising board is March 1.
