Young science talents given awards for scientific projects

The Ministry of Education and Training in coordination with the Ministry of Science and Technology, Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations January 4 in Hanoi presented Vietnam Young Science Talent Award 2013 to students for their outstanding scientific projects.


This year, 211 projects out of 302 were given awards at yesterday ceremony. There were top ten prizes each VND5 million cash, 27 second prizes each VND3 million, 72 third prizes each VND2 million and 102 encouragement prizes as well.


The highlight of this year award is that some of students have published their projects on local or international scientific journals. Their projects moreover can be applicable in reality. Student Do Duy Hieu from the Natural University in Hanoi won the first prize as he has an article in Michigan Mathematical Journal.
