Rescuers have found the bodies of two men who drowned downriver of a waterfall in the central Highlands province of Dak Lak last Saturday.
Pham Van Hao, 24, of nearby Dak Nong Province, got into the Dray Nur Waterfall in Krong Ana District at around 4 p.m. but was swept away, Nguoi Lao Dong (Laborer) newspaper reported.
Dinh Van Tuyen, 21, also of Dak Nong, tried to save his friend but could not cope with the deep and rapid Serepok River and drowned too.
Another friend then tried to help, but was dragged back by other people, Tuoi Tre (Youth) newspaper reported.
The divers recovered Tuyen’s body Sunday afternoon and Hao’s at around 9 a.m. Tuesday, Nguoi Lao Dong reported.

Nguyen Trung Thien, manager of the tourist area in which Dray Nur is situated, said the section where the accident happened has warning signs prohibiting people from swimming, but Hao allegedly ignored them.
Tuoi Tre quoted locals as saying that people drown in the waterfall every year despite the warning signs and personnel warning them about the danger using megaphones.
