Geneva II: negotiations fail, no time frame for the 3rd round

(VOVworld) – The second round negotiations of the Geneva II international conference on Syria concluded on Saturday without achieving tangible results as well as specific date for the 3rd round, says UN-Arab League Special Envoy to Syria Lakhdar Brahimi.

Speaking to reporters in Geneva on Saturday, Brahimi said that it’s much better if both sides return and show their responsibilities to see whether they want this negotiation process to continue or not. He also apologized to the Syrian people for no progress at this round of negotiations.
