A display of 42 antiques belonging to Tran Trinh Huy was showcased on February 3 at Bac Lieu Mandarin’s villa in Dien Bien Phu Street, Bac Lieu Town, Bac Lieu Province in the Mekong delta.
The villa was built in 1919 by French engineers and is source of legend for Cong Tu Bac Lieu (Bac Lieu’s rich playboy). It took two years to build. All construction materials were selected by French engineers and brought from France to Bac Lieu Province.
Cam Quyen Commercial and Tourism Service Company sponsored the exhibition showcasing the famous son of one of the richest people of the 20th century, Tran Trinh Trach.
Tran Trinh Huy was notorious for his extravagant lifestyle.
The exhibition of the villa will boost Bac Lieu tourism, said Director of Bac Lieu Museum Pham Van Tac. People will also have a chance to see the extravagant lifestyle of Mandarin’s son.
