February 28, 2014 – Prudential Vietnam Assurance Private Ltd cooperated with central branch of Nguoi Lao dong Newspaper in organizing “Studious Pru Program”, in which 20 bikes was given to poor studious pupils in Binh Hai Commune.
This is one of Prudential Vietnam’s activities for the development of Vietnam community, aiming at encouraging poor studious pupils in their learning.
In 2013, Prudential Vietnam sponsored a number of social activities, such as giving bikes to studious children and gifts to those with Orange Agent/ Dioxin, building houses for poor households, helping victims of natural disaster, etc. in Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, and Da Nang. Total sponsoring value for those activities in 2013 is over VND 1 billion, in which VND 425 million for Quang Nam.
Prudence Foundation in Vietnam was established in 2003 with the grant of USD 2.7 million for the operational period 2003-2010. Its aim was to demonstrate Prudential’s commitment to improve living standard of the community where Prudential operates through meaningful charity and social programs.
