PANO – Youth union members of some army units have actively participated in traditional camp-fire evenings to celebrate coming great events.

At the camp-fire evening on March 21st, Training Battalion 4 of Brigade 144 under the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army held an artistic exchange to boost military-civilian ties. The unit also took this chance to launch an emulation movement in celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory on May 7th.
The movement, themed “Youths of Brigade 144 pioneer to build regularity and serious discipline to deserve to be Uncle Ho’s soldiers”, targets to improve the efficiency of youth union work and youth movements and build a firm political stance.
Earlier, units under the Chemical Arm gathered in the fire-camp evening hosted by the Chemical Warfare Officers School to observe the 56th anniversary of the traditional day of the Chemical Troops on April 19th and the 60th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory.
They also exchanged with their twinned youth union organizations to consolidate their ties and to mark the 83rd founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.
