PANO – Army units organized ceremonies on March 17th in response to a week-long program to promote labour safety and prevent labour-related accidents, occupational diseases and explosions in the workplace.
The program was kicked off on the previous day in Thua Thien-Hue province.
Attending the event held by Military Zone 4, Senior Lieutenant General Truong Quang Khanh asked the zone and its subordinate units to combine the program with their emulation movements.
Besides, the units aim to ensure safety for troops during training and combat readiness, heighten leaders’ awareness and responsibility in their work, provide labour protection facilities to their all military employees, and keep a close watch on ammunition and oil depots, and power stations to avoid accidental explosions.
