An Lao District has officially started the Project to construct Elephant Mountain Four-star High-ranking Resort covering an area of 5 hectares with the total investment capital of USD 2 million. The project will be divided into 2 stages, each worth around USD 1 million.
The project is designed with a purely Vietnamese architectural style. Selected materials include bamboo, wood for antique buildings, straw and thatch, in which interior furniture comprises rattan and bamboo handicrafts. The execution unit is Hai Phong Hi-tech Commercial Joint Stock Company. Up to this moment, thanks to the support and facilitation of the People’s Committee of An Lao district, the execution unit has finished about 20% of the work volume. The project is scheduled to be completed in April, 2014.
As designed, Elephant Mountain High-ranking ecotourism complex project consists of 40 separate rooms, two high-grade restaurants with traditional dishes, one waterfall, one swimming pool, three fishing lakes, and one spiritual aquarium. After completion, the Project of ‘Elephant Mountain Resort‘ will become a “Resort Paradise” with a variety of services as food, spa, gardens and rooms for rent at weekends, recreation, hiking and fishing activities, etc…This is an ideal destination, offering visitors over-expected discovery via tours around Elephant Mountain landscape and relic area. The project will also contribute to boosting tourism potentials and developing socio-economy of the locality as well.
