March 04, 2014 – Hoi An City Commerce and Tourism Division informed that there had been 21 projects on developing tourism industry in Tan Hiep Commune – The Cham Islands.
Among them, some projects have been started, such as developing services at Bai Chong Beach, upgrading public toilets in Bai Chong Beach, surveying tourist stops, upgrading Tan Hiep market, bird nest processing and retailing at Bai Ong Beach, adjusting visit regulation, and the project of building Cua Dai marina.
This year, Hoi An City finances the investment in Tan Hiep Commune by the ground fees for shops at Bai Ong Beach. It also allocates resources to build tourism infrastructure in the islands, including public toilets and reception house.
