PANO – Marine Police Region 4 under the Vietnam Marine Police Command announced the establishment of Flotilla 402 in Nam Can district, Ca Mau province, on March 18th.

The newly-formed unit will do staff work for the region’s Party, Command and Staff in assigning troops and ships to conduct patrols and law enforcement at sea.
Its establishment is part of a development project to build a complete model for the marine police to firmly protect national sovereignty over sea and islands.
