(Cinet)- In the framework of the last activities of National Tourism Year 2014 of Central Highlands – Da Lat, on the evening of December 23, Lam Dong Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism opened the program “Japanese culture days in Da Lat”.
Themed ‘Da Lat – winter colors’, the festival features special activities: flower display ‘Da Lat – four flower seasons’; Da Lat flower exhibition with the theme ‘Flower colors in cold land’; Japanese culture days in Da Lat; “Da Lat without streets” picnic tour; “Flower tourism” tour; honor and award ceremony of “Golden Spoon – 2014″ cuisine contest; Da Lat tourism – handicraft villages fair 2014; festival of city’s youth; international conference “Da Lat – Central Highlands tourism – Integration and Development”; “Highlands Love” art program.
It is being held by the Department of International Cooperation, the Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam in coordination with the Lam Dong provincial People’s Committee. The event aims to introduce Japanese specific cultural characteristics to tourists and local people, contributing to promoting the friendship relationship between the two countries.
