As to the report at the conference, in the first quarter 2014, the total industry-minor industry production value of the province increased 8.3%; the total retail commodity and service rate increased more than 10% against the same period last year; the value of consuming price for March 2014 decreased 1.84 against the previous month and increased 0.41 against the beginning of the year.
The fundamental construction works and projects were simultaneously commenced at the beginning of the year; the rate of progress for execution has shown positive shifts. The task of site clearance for significant projects in the locality are drastically concentrated for construction…Nevertheless, the production of agriculture, fishery remain lots of difficulties; the situation of epidemics on cattle, poultry and shrimps is occuring complicatedly; the production of industry shows the signal for recovery, but low growth; the collection of state budget only reaches 20.3 of the estimated figure assigned by the province for the year 2014, a reduction of 5.5% against the same period of 2013; export is dramatically reduced…
In the second quarter of 2014, the PPC concentrates on directing the implementation of plans to prevent droughts; organizing the harvest of rice and winter-spring plants; well preparing the process of production for the summer-fall crop. The localities enhance the rate of process for constructing new rural areas, continuing to implement the scheme of concreting rural roads in Phu Yen in the period of 2013-2015, striving to complete concreting about 500km of rural roads in the province. Related departments, sectors continue to implement solutions to remove difficulties in production and trade; concentrating on collecting state budget, collecting tax debts. The main investors frequently inspect and speed up the rate of progress for constructing fundamental works, well disbursing the capital sources assigned in the plan. Concluding the conference, PPC Chairman Pham Dinh Cu directed the department of agriculture and rural development to submit full reports on the situation of droughts and solutions for preventing droughts in the province, saving plants, cattle and poultry. The Tax sector has to drastically implement the solutions of state budget collection, to ensure 50% collection as to the plan set till the end of the second quarter of 2014. The department of industry and trade and related sectors continue to remove difficulties for the enterprises producing and trading. The localities involved in the projects of expanding the National Avenue 1 have to speed up the rate of progress for compensating and site-clearance, resettlement, April 30th is the latest time for assigning clean surface to contractors; as for other large projects like Ca Pass tunnel,Vung Ro oil refinery factory, Dong Hoa district has to accelerate the rate of progress for assigning surface to investors. Besides, districts, town and city have to speed up the rate of progress for constructing rural areas, concreting rural traffic roads; the department of traffic and transportation works with the cement suppliers to ensure the ample volume as to the construction plan in localities. The main investors concentrate on completing some focal projects like rescuing road connecting Tuy An and Son Hoa (DT643), the sub-projects 2,3 of the project of South Hung Vuong bridge to the North of Da Nong bridge, phase 1 of the route connecting the national avenue 1 to Hoa Hiep industrial zone…
