Deploying the campaign of “Action Month for food quality, hygiene and safety” in 2014

The Provincial Interdisciplinary Steering Committee on food hygiene and safety has just issued the aforementioned plan (Action Month) in the province.


Accordingly, the Action Month takes place from May 15th to June 15th with the theme “Food safety for street foodstuffs“, aiming to: Raising the role and responsibilities of local administrations at all levels, producers, traders and consumers; strengthening surveillance and propaganda…to ensure food safety for street foodstuffs; 100% of street food-trading establishments signing commitment to fully comply with the regulations on assuring food safety in the Action Month; decreasing 10% of cases of food poisoning due to using street food during the action month compared with the same period in 2013.


The main contents​​of the Action Month include: Launching the ceremony of the Action Month with the theme “Food safety for street foodstuffs” at province and district levels; implementing the media campaigns to ensure food hygiene and safety; inspecting, Interdisciplinary checking the implementation of legal documents on managing food quality, hygiene and safety at province, district and commune levels …
