The Cuban children’s theater group, La Colmenita, will perform at Cong Nhan Theater in Hanoi on April 23.
The performance features comedic fairy tales and rock music.
The group’s first performance in Vietnam was at the Hue Festival 2014.
Established in 1990, the La Colmenita has given performances at hospitals and rehabilitation centers for people with disabilities. They’ve also given free performances public squares and theaters.
They’ve performed in more than 25 countries around the world, including the Bread and Puppet Theatre, Deep Mountain in the US, Odin in Denmark, People’s Little in Bangladesh and Les Mordus in Belgium.
The troupe is a winner of many local and international awards.
