7th session of 15th provincial People’s Council scheduled for July 8-9

The Standing Board of the Hai Duong provincial People’s Council (PPC) on the morning of May 22 held a joint conference with the provincial People’s Committee and the provincial Fatherland Front Committee to reach agreement on the agenda of the 15th PPC’s 7th session.



Mr. Nguyen Manh Hien, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, attended the event. Mr. Nguyen Van Hop, Member of the provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board, Vice Chairman of the PPC, chaired the conference.


As expected, the 15th PPC’s 7th session will take place in two days, July 8 and 9. The PPC will hear the provincial People’s Committee report on the implementation of socio-economic development tasks, results of the execution of the capital construction investment plan for the first six months of 2014, and the tasks and solutions for the last six months of the year.


The session will listen to reports on budget revenue and expenditure results in the year’s first half, direction and solutions for the year’s second half; results of people reception and settlement of citizens’ complaints and denunciations; the political security, social order and safety in the first six months of the year; the conversion of rice and forest land use purposes; results of solving voters’ opinions and proposals before the PPC’s 7th session.


The session will also hear and comment to adopt a number of proposals on amending and supplementing several fees and charges; regulating some specific financial mechanisms for Hai Duong city, Chi Linh provincial town, and Kinh Mon district.


The PPC has fixed the date from June 10 – 20 for deputy groups to contact voters.
