HCM CITY (VNS)- Foreign institutional and individual investors and businesses will get a chance to explore opportunities to make new investments in Viet Nam at a two-day event to be held in HCM City next week.
“The Gateway to Vietnam: Looking for new investment opportunities,” organised by the Saigon Securities Inc. on September 11-12 will feature 18 experts speaking about equitisation of State-owned enterprises, restructure of banks, and the fast moving consumer goods sector.
There will be discussions on how to speed up SOE equitisation, what industries will benefit from Viet Nam’s integration with the global economy and economic restructure, advantages and difficulties for foreign institutions investing in the country, policy support, handling of bad debts and plans to sell them by the Vietnam Asset Management Company, and others.- VNS
