VGP – At a discussion about agriculture and food security in Africa on May 5, Vietnsmese representative, Ambassador Le Huy Hoang, stressed the effectiveness of the three-party projects recently implemented with funding from the Japan International Cooperation Agency within the framework of New Partnership for Africa’s Development (NEPAD).
Hoang was speaking at the first ministers’ meeting to review the implementation of commitments made at the Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD-5).

Viet Nam highly appreciated the TICAD implementation and hoped to work more closely with Japan and other partner countries participating in the Yokohama Action Program, Minister Hoang said.
He added that Viet Nam pledged to continue sending experts in agriculture, fisheries and other sectors to help African countries ensure food security and sustainable development.
