All five Vietnamese students win prizes at Russian Olympiad

All five members of the Vietnam team bagged prizes at the 13th International Olympiad of the Russian language for schoolchildren, including three first prizes and two second prizes.


The first prize winners were Nguyen Thi Minh Nguyet from Le Hong Phong gifted high school in the Red river delta province of Nam Dinh, Nghiem Ba Tri from Hanoi-Amsterdam high school and Do Anh Tung from Nguyen Hue gifted high school in Hanoi.


Second prizes went to Nguyen Phuong Trang from Phan Boi Chau high school in the central province of Nghe An and Duong Hong Ngoc from Nguyen Hue gifted high school in Hanoi.


The six-day contest attracted over 200 students from 29 countries to compete in an array of educational categories including lectures on western topics, Russian pronunciation, young speaker and young poetry reader.


The 13th Russian Olympiad was wrapped up in Moscow on June 11. Vietnamese delegation will arrive at Noi Bai airport at 5:30 am on June 13./.
