The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has assigned the Department of Fine Arts, Cinema and Exhibition to organize a state-level painting contest on arts and human rights to underline the ASEAN declaration on human rights and to participate in the regional contest for ASEAN youth.
All Vietnamese people aged from 18 to 25 can participate in the contest. All entries must be in line with the national laws of ASEAN countries.
The artwork will display the attitude of the ASEAN community towards people; respecting, promoting and protecting basic human rights, including the right to live, healthcare, study and work in order to improve the quality of life for people in ASEAN.
Awarded works at the state level will be sent to the ASEAN Secretariat at regional level, and will be updated on the website of the intergovernmental committee on human rights.
Entries can be sent to the Department of Fine Arts, Cinema and Exhibition at 38 Cao Ba Quat street, Ba Dinh district, Hanoi from June 18-20/.
