PANO – The General Department of Logistics of the Vietnam People’s Army on June 25th met with 122 needy students with excellent academic results in the 2013-2014 school year.
These students are children of the general department’s cadres and staff working in the North.
Over the past years, the unit has developed policies on taking care of children, organizing activities for them on the occasion of the World Children’s Day, Mid-Autumn Festival, visiting and presenting gifts to disabled and needy children.
Addressing the meeting, Major General Nguyen Xuan Mien, the unit’s Deputy Commissar, expressed his delight at the good results recorded by the students in the academic year and asked them to brave difficulties to have better results in the coming school years.
