Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee has just approved the land using Planning to 2020 and land using Plan for the first five years (2011-2015) of Ly Son district.
Accordingly, total natural land of the district to 2020 will be 1,032.49ha including 551.24ha of agricultural land, accounting for 53.39% of the total natural land; 353.50ha of non-agricultural land (34.24%); 150ha of urban land (14.53%); 330ha of tourism land (31.96%); 151.78ha of rural residential area land (14.70%).
Ly Son Island district owns the highest population density as compared with 12 island districts across the country. The island covers 10 km square and its population is over 21,000 people.
