A low pressure trough was located at 19-22 degrees north latitude, which operates strongly in Vietnam’s offshore, reported by the National Hydro Meteorological Forecasting Center on June 10.
Affected areas will see rains, thunderstorm accompanied with cyclone and strong wind.
In addition to low pressure trough, due to the influence of the southwest monsoon in Southern waters of East Sea, territorial waters from Binh Thuan to Ca Mau will face strong winds at level 5-6, gusts up to level 6.
Currently, the weather on East Sea becomes worse.
The Central Steering Committee for Flood and Storm Prevention and the National Committee for Search and Rescue required the Ministry of Public Security, Defense, Transportation, Trade and Industry, Health, Agriculture and Rural Development and leaders of provinces will pay more attention to control the complex weather situation.
