The provincial Traffic Safety Board has just proposed the provincial People’s Committee to allocate nearly VND 3.6 billion to clear all traffic “black spots” in province’s roads and VND 3.5 billion to repair all suspension bridge system in the provincial area.
Accordingly, in the first six months of the year, the Department of Transport, the provincial traffic safety board, the provincial Public Security in collaboration with districts and city People’s Committee to conduct 02 surveys on national highways and provincial roads in order to determine “black spots” that frequently causing traffic accidents.
Traffic “black spots” on the national highways will be repaired by the Vietnam Roads Administration.
Besides, the provincial Traffic Safety Board also worked with local authorities to check 29 suspension bridges. After checking, there are 13 bridges that need to be repaired and 05 downgraded bridges that assessed unsafe for people.
