Over the past five years, the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund has presented nearly 50,000 scholarships to ethnic students nationwide.



The fund has also helped to build eight schools, including two primary schools in Truong Sa Lon island and Sinh Ton island which belong to the Truong Sa archipelago; ten bridges and 35 gratitude houses for poor people.


On June 19, Truong My Hoa, former Vice State President and president of Vu A Dinh scholarship fund presided over a press briefing on the programme to mark the 15th founding anniversary of the foundation and the 65th death anniversary of hero and fallen soldier Vu A Dinh.


The programme will be held at 8:30pm on June 21 in Ho Chi Minh city and will be broadcast live on HTV9 channel of Ho Chi Minh city Television.


The scholarship fund also implemented several educational projects to help ethnic students in disadvantaged areas./.
