In response to Vietnam sea and island Week, delegations from the Quang Ninh provincial Border Guard and the provincial Women’s Union visited and presented gifts to 11 families of cadres and soldiers in Quang Yen town who are on duty at the Paracel and Spratly archipelagos.

During the visits, the delegations sent regards to the cadres’ and soldiers’ relatives, encouraging them to develop domestic economy, and care well for the whole family so that the cadres and soldiers can keep their mind on work assigned to them by the Party and State.
During the visits, the delegations presented gifts to each of the families worth VND2 million.
The activity, which is of great significance and responsibility, aims to give spiritual encouragement to soldiers who day and night protect the nation’s sea and island sovereignty./.
