The Prime Minister has recently agreed with the investment policy for a project to establish the Fulbright University Vietnam in Ho Chi Minh City.
The PM sent a dispatch to the Ministry of Education and Training, the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Home Affairs, and the HCMC People’s Committee, affirming the school will be set up in the form of a university with foreign capital.
Fulbright University Vietnam will be invested by the Trust for University Innovation in Vietnam and will operate on a non-profit basis.
The PM has also assigned the Ministry of Education and Training to work with the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the HCMC People’s Committee and other related ministries and agencies to guide the project formulation in accordance with the government’s Decree No 73 on international cooperation and educational investment before submitting the project for PM approval.
