Cam Ranh Shipbuilding Company belonging to Vietnam Shipbuilding Industry Group, on June 12, held a ceremony to launch the second steel fishing boat, coded Sang Fish 01.
With the designed capacity for 18 crewmembers, the boat could hold enough fuel for the operation of 2,000 nautical miles.
The boat is also equipped with modern machines such as radar system, GPS positioning machine, compass, two-ways transceiver, lifebuoys, medical materials, etc.
Foodstuffs stored on boat could be used within 30 days.
As scheduled, the Sang Fish 01 will be handed over to its owner Phan Be (Duc Pho, Quang Ngai) on June 25.
Earlier, the steel vessel, coded Hoang Anh 01, built by the Vietnam Shipbuilding Industry Group was rented and handed over to the fisherman Mai Thanh Van in Binh Chanh commune, Binh Son district, Quang Ngai Province.
