VNAT meets representative of NTOs in Viet Nam

(TITC) – On 29 May, 2014, Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) had meetings with representatives of some National Tourism Organizations (NTOs) in Ha Noi including South Korea, Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia.



At the meetings, the General Director of VNAT, Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan emphasized that Viet Nam always has good relationship in many areas with South Korea, Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia, particularly in tourism field. He also highly appreciated their opening of representative offices in Viet Nam.


The representative offices in Viet Nam not only contribute to promoting Vietnamese outbound tourists but also support to attract int’l tourists to Viet Nam, contributing to strengthen friendship between Viet Nam and above countries.


In spite of some tensions related to East Sea problem occuring recently, Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan affirmed that Viet Nam is always a safe and friendly destination and ensures security and safety for int’l tourists visiting Viet Nam.


Mr. Tuan hoped representatives of NTOs would timely inform current friendly, stable, and safe situation in Viet Nam to their citizens and encourage them to continue visiting Viet Nam.


Representatives of NTOs also suggested Viet Nam to develop a plan to respond to the crisis; enhancing domestic and oversea communication to promote Viet Nam’s tourism image to the world; promoting domestic and intra-ASEAN tourism; release safe insurance policies for int’l tourists; opening more int’l direct flights…
