In his newly official issued-decision, Chairman of the Quang Ngai PPC has promulgated the provincial action plan of cultural diplomacy strategy towards 2020.
The purpose of the plan aims to promote cultural diplomacy, to make the world understand better about the country, people and culture of Vietnam in general and Quang Ngai province in particular.
As assigned tasks, functional authorities must have responsibility to boost Quang Ngai province’s relations with foreign partners in-depth, thereby promoting the role of culture in order to kick off the multilateral and bilateral cooperation relations in the fields of economy and politics; to build the image of Quang Ngai people to be friendly, hospitable with rich traditional heritages.
The main contents consist of raising awareness and building policies of cultural diplomacy, diversified forms of promoting cultural heritages and images of the province to foreign countries; linking the cultural diplomacy with political diplomacy and economic diplomacy, with the work on the Vietnamese in foreign countries; promoting the training of human resources and ensuring adequate resources for activities of cultural diplomacy.
