At the same time, the Ministry will also inspect the observance of the provisions of the law on environmental protection projects, production facilities, business services in four provinces in the Southwest.
According to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, from now until the end of 2014, the inspection team of the Ministry and its relevant agencies will conduct inspection of the observance of the land law towards investment projects building new urban areas of economic organizations and establishments which cause serious environmental pollution and projects which have received funding for thoroughly treating, facilities and industrial complexes that cause environment pollution in basins of Cau, Nhue and Day rivers.
Also, the inspection of the observance of the law on mineral exploration and exploitation of mineral water in six provinces and cities in the North and three provinces and cities in the Central.
According to data from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, in the first 6 months, the Ministry has conducted nearly 1,100 inspections, received 2,500 people; received nearly 6,000 complaints and denunciations. 1,075 cases out of 1,805 cases have been resolved.
