HANOI (VNS) – Dong Tam Long An have decided to fire striker Nguyen Viet Thang for fitness reasons, although his one-year contract with the team runs until this October.
Long An had bought Thang from Becamex Binh Duong for a reported VND1 billion (US$47,600).
Thang is an experienced player with top level experience, helping the national team win the ASEAN Football Federation Cup trophy in 2008.- VNS
