Doosan Vina contributes partly to the development of Quang Ngai province



​Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee’s deputy secretary Mr. Nguyen Minh, vice chairman of Provincial People’s Committee Mr. Pham Nhu So and other leaders on July 15 started a visit to Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction Co., Ltd in Chang Won, Korea.




Being a subsidiary of Doosan Group, Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction Co., Ltd is located in the southern city of Chang Won, having 6 plants in Vietnam, USA, UK, India, and the Czech Republic with 19,000 workers.


Its business ranges from nuclear power plants, thermal power plants, turbines and generators to desalination plants, castings, forgings and construction. The company has completed a number of major power and water projects worldwide.


Visited the company, Mr. Nguyen Minh expressed his impression on the development of Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction Co., Ltd. He suggested that the company continually develops its investment in Vietnam and provides more contracts to Doosan Vina in Dung Quat.


He said that the development of Doosan Vina would be the development of Quang Ngai province.


He wished the company to keep going on its charity programs in Quang Ngai province, where its subsidiary: Doosan Vina has been under smooth and effective operation, partly contributing to provincial socio-economic development.
