Typhoon Rammasun moved towards East Sea after sweeping through Philippines’s territorial water yesterday, reported by the National Meteorological Hydrology Forecast Center.

The forecast weather agencies worldwide forecasted that the storm will continue to approach the Gulf of Tonkin and make landfall in the northern provinces of Hai Phong, Quang Ninh after it hit Hainan Island (China) on Friday. Then, it
will move slowly with its wind speeds of level 11-12.
The Central Steering Committee for Flood and Storm Prevention and National Committee for Search and Rescue held an emergency meeting at Ha Noi on July 16, aiming to give instructions to deal with Super storm Rammasun.
By 5pm on Wednesday, the storm moved west northwestwards with the strongest wind speeds of level 13-16, reported Director of the National Meteorological Hydrology Forecast Center Hoang Duc Cuong .
The coastal provinces of east northern and northern region will experience heavy rains over wide areas with the rainfall of 200-300 mm.
After the storm Rammasun sweeps through Hai Phong and Quang Ninh province, it will move fast towards west on July 19, said Cuong.
The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development and Head of the Central Steering Committee for Flood and Storm Prevention Cao Duc Phat required local authorities, relevant ministries to immediately guide fishing boats, tourist ships move safe places to avoid the storm.
Deputy Prime Minister attends an online talking with leaders from Thanh Hoa to Quang Ninh provinces on Thursday to give instructions to deal with the typhoon.
