PANO – The Swedish Embassy in Vietnam in association with the Vietnam’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on August 20th launched a photo contest, themed “Swedish innovations through Vietnamese lenses”, to mark the 45th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-Sweden diplomatic relations.
Accordingly, all the Vietnamese citizens can join the contest by sending their photos on the Swedish inventions and innovations, which have been applied in Vietnam, before October 12th.
Best photos will be honored at the awarding ceremony scheduled on November 10th and exhibited in Ho Chi Minh City. The award winner will have a chance to visit Sweden to learn about the country’s culture and innovations.
Addressing the launching ceremony, the Swedish Ambassador to Vietnam Camilla Mellander hoped that the contest would attract a large number of local people and contribute to raising Vietnamese people’s understanding of the bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries.
