PANO – Division 9 of Army Corps 4 held a get-together on August 20th to celebrate its 49th traditional day in the presence of General Le Van Dung, former Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People’s Army.
Over the past years, the unit’s cadres and soldiers have overcome difficulties to successfully fulfill assigned tasks. As a result, it was awarded quite a few noble orders and certificates of merit from the Party, State and the Ministry of National Defence.
At the meeting, General Le Van Dung highlighted the division’s feats of arms during the resistance wars against foreign invaders and urged the unit to carefully and economically hold its 50th anniversary.
At present, the division is focusing on building comprehensively strong unit, raising troops’ professionalism and combat readiness and heightening the quality of exercises at all levels.
