PANO – An exhibition of 683 posters by 230 amateur and professional artists inside and outside the Army featuring the victorious traditions of the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA) and the brilliant feats of arms of the Vietnamese troops and people over the past 70 years was opened on August 20th in Hanoi.
Jointly organised by the Vietnam Military History Museum and the Department of Information and Education, the exhibition is to mark the 70th founding anniversary of the VPA and the General Department of Politics and the 25th anniversary of the whole people’s defence festive day.
The showcased posters also praise troops’ patriotism and willingness to sacrifice for national independence and territorial integrity as well as to highlight the image of Uncle Ho’s soldiers in the resistance wars and the national construction and defence period, the close relations between troops and people, and international solidarity.
Following the exhibition in Hanoi ending on September 3rd, these works will be introduced to units inside and outside the Army in provinces and cities across the country.
