PANO – Binh Dinh provincial People’s Committee marked the 222nd death anniversary of Emperor Quang Trung (1792-2014) on August 24th at the Quang Trung Museum.
After the incense offering, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Le Huu Loc has delivered a speech to praise the Emperor’s contributions to the Tay Son movement and his resounding achievements in his lifetime.

Over the past years, bringing into play the heroic tradition of Tay Son movement and the Emperor, the province has boosted local socio-economic development, reinforced defence work, and maintained social order, contributing to gradually improving local people’s living standards.
Besides, the provincial authorities has invested hundreds of billions of VND to expand and upgrade Quang Trung Museum and temples dedicated to generals in the Tay Son Dynasty.
