As informed by Mr. Nguyen Huu Nghiem, Chairman of the provincial Red Cross, the unit has coordinated with Red Cross of Tuy An, Tay Hoa districts and Tuy Hoa city to visit and donate 84 to million dongs to 60 disabled children, A/O victims with particularly difficult circumstances.
Accordingly, each province has 20 A/O victims to receive assistance money, with 1.4 million dongs/person. This amount was sponsored by French-Vietnam Friendship Association for Phu Yen A/O victims through the provincial Red Cross. From 2012 to date, this organization has assisted over 629 million dongs for A/O victims in the above-mentioned localities. The objects are supported by quarter, each quarter receives from 1 to 1.4 million dongs/ person.
According to Mr. Nguyen Huu Nghiem, in the coming time, the provincial Red Cross will continue to mobilize collectives and individuals in and outside the province to support A/O victims to overcome difficulties and get improved in life.
