In afternoon of July 24, the Vietnam Environment Administration organized the meeting of Editorial Team of the Circular guiding the implementation of Decision No 50/2013 / QD-TTg dated August, 09 2013 on retrieval and disposal of discarded products.
The Draft Circular includes 7 chapters and 20 articles and 9 annexes.Accordingly, this Circular stipulates in details the recovery, transport and disposal of discarded products, management of data and information, report on retrieval and disposal of discarded products which are specified in the Decision No. 50/2013/ QD-TTg dated August, 09 2013 on retrieval and disposal of discarded products.
This Circular applies to manufacturers, importers, consumers and organizations and individuals involved in the retrieval and disposal of discarded products in the territory of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
List ofdiscarded products, time of recovery and handling under theDecision No. 50/2013/QD-TTg dated 09/8/2013 includes 6 groups: batteries and accumulators;electronic devices, industrial and household electricity;chemicals used in industry, agriculture, fisheries and medicines for human use;oil, lubricants;tires and inner tubes and vehicles.
At the meeting, the members of the Editorial Team gave their comments on the content: subject of application, technical requirements for collection and storage points of discarded products, receiving and transporting discarded products, responsibilities and disposal methods of discarded products, requirements for disposal of discarded products…
