PANO – The Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union on August 18th reviewed the results of the implemention of the youth volunteer summer campaign, “Youths joining hands to build new rural areas”.

Over the past time, volunteer activities have involved a large number of young volunteers across the country. The participants have built and repaired thousands of kms of rural roads and hundreds of bridges, playgrounds for local kids and communal houses, dredged irrigation canals, helped many university exam sitters and their parents during the last National University Entry Examinations and actively participated in environmental protection.
At the conference, the central committee presented certificates of merit to 23 outstanding groups in acknowledgement of their contributions to the campaign.
