Accelerating development in Northern mountainous region

VGP – The Government has issued a plan to accelerate socio-economic development in the Northern midland and mountainous region through 2020.

Under the plan, the region’s economy is expected to expand 7.5-8% per year and the poverty is targeted to fall by 3-4% annually.

Socio-economic development will be closely combined with national defense and security, according to the plan.

The Government calls for joint efforts of the whole country to realize this plan./.
