(Cinet)- Book Festival entitled “Hanoi – the City for Peace” will take place at the Thang Long-Hanoi Heritage Conservation Centre from September 26 th to October 2 nd to mark the 60 th anniversary of the city’s liberation and the 15 th anniversary of Hanoi’s recognition as the “City for Peace” by the UNESCO.
The festival will showcase books with seven themes, namely “Present Thang Long-Hanoi”, ” Books’ journey “, “President Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi Capital”, ” General Vo Nguyen Giap and the heroic Vietnam People’s Army “, “National seas and islands”, ” Discovering the world ” and ” Interesting and beautiful books “.
It also offers books at good prices, and participants will have a chance to learn more about Hanoi through seminars and exchanges with writers, particularly the ones born in the capital city in 1954.
