KON TUM (VNS)- The Central Highlands province of Kon Tum will teach the Bahnar and Jrai languages to ethnic primary students in an effort to preserve their cultural identities.
A total of 819 Bahnar and 255 Jrai students will benefit from the scheme during the next school year.
The languages have been added to the curriculum at schools in Kon Tum city and Kon Ray and Sa Thay districts.
Students will receive four lessons a week from native teachers skilled in speaking, reading, and writing. – VNS
