National flag carrier, Vietnam Airlines will offer 1,200 additional flights on local and international routes for the coming Tet holiday season from January 28 to March 18, 2015.
The flagship carrier will provide a total of 18,900 flights, including 260 flights on the Hanoi – Ho Chi Minh City route using Airbus A321, A330 and Boeing 777 aircrafts; 340 flights on the Da Nang – Ho Chi Minh City route with Airbus A321 aircraft; and flights on routes such as HCMC-Vinh/Hai Phong/Pleiku/Buon Ma Thuot/Quy Nhon/Cam Ranh/Hue/Thanh Hoa/Phu Quoc and Hanoi-Cam Ranh/Da nang/Phu Quoc/Vinh.
There will be also 36 additional flights on the routes from both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to international destinations such as Bangkok, Singapore, Hong Kong (China), and Kaohsiung, Taiwan (China).
The carrier announced to sell tickets for the Tet holiday on October 1.
