Military Zone 4 to search and gather over 400 martyrs’ remains

PANO – In the 2014-2015 dry season, Military Zone 4′s martyr search teams plan to search and gather 401 sets of remains of martyrs that they have surveyed in and outside the country.


It is part of the missions of search and gathering martyrs’ remains in the coming dry season set out by the zone’s Command at a conference on September 15th.

In the last dry season, the zone’s martyr search teams repatriated home 275 remains of martyrs from 10 provinces in Laos.



So far, as many as 24,299 sets of remains of Vietnamese volunteer troops and experts who had sacrificed serving the international obligation in Laos have been gathered and taken home.


In the 2014-2015 dry season, the zone plans to promote popularization and improve quality of martyrs-related information provision. Besides, it will boost collecting information, decoding signs and designations of units participating in the war as well as encourage organizations and forces to actively involve in searching and gathering sets of martyrs’ remains.
