Senior leaders pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh

(VOV) – Vietnamese Party and State leaders on September 2 paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum and offered incense at the Monument to fallen soldiers on the occasion of the 69th anniversary of National Day.


The senior delegation included Party Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong; former General Secretary Le Kha Phieu, former General Secretary Nong Duc Manh; National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung, former National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Van An along with other Politburo members and members from the Party Central Committee.



The leaders expressed their profound gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh in remembrance of his great contributions to the glorious revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation.


After visiting the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the delegation laid wreaths, and burnt incense at the Memorial of Heroic Martyrs to commemorate their sacrifices for the cause of national liberation struggle for independence, freedom and people’s happiness.


The same day, delegations from the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also paid homage to President HCM and offer incense to commemorate fallen soldiers.
