The m-o-m increase of export turnover to be 238.91%

​ A source from Quang Ngai Provincial People’s Committee said that export turnover in August reached USD 79.5 million, an increase of 238.91% compared to previous month and a growth of 105.95% compared with that in the same time last year.

The significant growth, as released, was due to the large volume of heavy industrial exported products of Doosan Vina, a leading FDI Company in Dung Quat Economic Zone. Besides, the Dung Quat Refinery was put into full capacity of production after two months of its second turnaround.


The total eight month’s export turnover achieved USD 447.3 million, a year on year growth of 59.27 %, while import turnover reached USD 385.3 million, fulfilling 50.7% of the figure set forth for the year.
