It was the figure released by the Department of Finance (DoF) at the meeting on September 10 chaired by PPC Chairman Le Viet Chu with the participation of leaders from the concerned provincial departments, agencies.
As reported by the DoF, in the first 8 months of 2014, the budget revenue in the province reached VND 17,600 billion, accounting for 70.9% of the yearly estimate. In particular, the domestic revenue was VND16,590 billion, equivalent to 74.8% of the yearly estimate, up 2.7% compared to the same period of 2013.
Revenue of the Dung Quat Refinery gained VND 14,791 billion, equivalent to 76.2% of the yearly estimate, the im-export revenue reached VND 1,010 billion, accounting for 38.1% of the yearly estimate.
The provincial budget expenditure in 8 months of 2014 was estimated at VND 5,101 billion, equivalent to 66.5% of the yearly estimate, up 7.8% compared to the same period in 2013.
At the meeting, DoF expected to fulfill the quotas of VND 27,200 billion in 2014 that was set out by the Provincial People’s Council.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Chu acknowledged the achievements by DoF in recent years. At the same time, he asked the DoF to coordinate with relevant departments to strengthen management of project owners to ensure the feasibility and effectiveness of the investment projects.
The Department of Tax was requested to deal with problems of tax debt, tax exemption gaining the high tax revenue.
