On September 9th, Provincial Public Security in coordination with the Provincial Sub-Committee of railway security order held a meeting to review the coordination regulations on ensuring the order security and safety of railway traffic from 2006 to 2014.
Over the last 7 years, 63 traffic accidents have occurred in the province, causing 50 people died, 21 people injured, the property damage of about VND 500 million. 26 burglaries of materials, equipment of the railways were also settled.
In particular, the situation of throwing stones to the train’s windows is still occurring, affecting the safety of train operation.
In addition, two construction works violating the traffic safety corridor and other cases were also detected and handled by the Provincial Public Security and the railways.
At the ceremony, two sides signed the coordinate regulations to ensure the railway order security and safety in the coming period.
On this occasion, Vietnam Railways awarded the Certificates of Merit to the collectives and individuals for their contributions to protecting the order security and railways traffic safety in the province.
